Well, it was just a normal barbeque gathering. Kind of celebration to welcome the coming back of the Poker King, JOHN TAN. lol. Not a special one, but a nice one. great night we had and ended up at jamal at 2a.m and got home at about 4a.m. um let the pictures do the saying la alright I have lost my blogging skills.haha

YESTERDAY,memories...

Well, as I promised I'll be back. New theme for myself, for my blog - YESTERDAY.
If I were given a question, yesterday today and tomorrow which one do I prefer? The answer will defintely be yesterday. Yesterday simply means those memories that I had, neither its good nor bad, it's memories afterall. However, memories remain memories, it's just a simbol of those journey that we went through. But remember, they are all your history and one day when you recall back, you will say "oh yes, YESTERDAY"...

Yesterday, I visited to one of my 'YESTERDAYsss'. You know it's just so nice to back to yesterday ; the things that I had before, life that I experienced before, everything...
With a group of friends, and about an hour of journey, I brought them down all the way to my HOMETOWN - JAWI...

I am not a city boy, or i rather called myself a "kampung kia". I stayed in JAWI until the age of eight then only I moved to Penang. But you will never know it's just so amazing to stay in a rural area. Or instead, let me do a brief introduction of JAWI ; it's still an under-developed area, you can hardly find tall buildings in this area, people are not so well-educated, entertainment is really few but they love nature where they are still playing gasing, kites, etc, and the most important thing is people there are so friendly!

After an hour of journey, we reached JAWI...

You know the feeling of going back to hometown is just so amazing. I stepped onto JAWI again after years as I am staying in Penang for eleven years already [but I still going back once in a year le for cny celebration.lol] ...

" This is my former house, the place where I had my childhood memories. And now when I looked back only I realised I have leave JAWI for eleven years, that's so unbelievable! Cause whenever I stepped onto this land, I will recall of all my childhood buddies and memories. And I always have the feeling that I have never leave JAWI. That's really fantastic! This is the place where I born, I played kites, I played gasing, I caught fishes [see the river beside my house] , I climbed up to the rambutan tree, you name it! That's really really fantastic! I am so glad that I had so much fun here compared to the children nowadays who have only computer games as their childhood memories. See the woman in the picture? We are renting the house to her, and she is so nice and friendly I tell you. When she saw me, she asked me to go into my house and talked to me and bla bla bla. Argh! I am just in love with you, my land!"

We continued our journey, walking along to a main road but you can still see some old old houses beside the road. I believe that each and every of them has their own history, just like me...

Then, we reached this place which actually it was our main intention of visiting JAWI - JAWI laksa. Do you readers know that how famous the JAWI laksa is? I still remember when I was small, tourists from other states and some even from other countries will purposely boooked a bus to JAWI just to eat the laksa over there. Imazing how cool is that? Come on, follow me...

Look, how nice is that? The biggest difference between JAWI laksa and Penang laksa is they served the laksa with prawn crackers and that's the most tasty part. And I tell you the laksa soup is superb nice especially when you eat with the prawn crackers. OMG, I swear to god that's the best ever laksa that I have tried. Superb superb nice! I had two bowls, same goes to Daniel and almost everyone. Not only that, we somemore packed a lot back to Penang. haha

" I still remember I used to ask my sis to buy the laksa for me when I was small as my mum won't allowed me to cross over the road and buy. I have been addicted to the laksa since small, and now I went back and try again after 11 years , the taste is still there, one thing stands out - Quality Control! lol But seriously people, that's superb superb superb nice! trust me...."

This is also one of the streets in JAWI. As we can see, this street is developing, those people have begin to start some small business in front of their house like selling fruits, kuih-muih and foods. However, the look of this street remains. That's the best part of JAWI, after eleven years everything in JAWI remains the same.

" I think this is the longest business that existed in JAWI. It's a very old'fashioned hair saloon, but yet, it has its unique history. I still remember my mum used to bring me to this hair saloon when I was small, and I wonder why I love to be in this hair saloon, everytime when I go to this place I will stay in there until my mum needs to buy sweets to convince me to go home.haha"

It's only supported by the two houses beside it and imaging how intelligent the people in the older times is?They managed to built such a house and it's so stable until today. What can I say ; unique.

A memorable one! 13022009...

I always thought that hanging out with friends is just a normol thing to do which we can even do it daily. Untill friends are leaving one by one to futher their studies in overseas, I changed my perceptions towards this and I realised how precious a friendship is.

It was Velentine's Day [ 13 02 2009 ] , I guess you readers were celebrating with your loved ones. But mine one is even more meaningful I bet, cause my best bro Yu Wei is going to Australia on the day next to Valentine's Day. He's in Australia now to be exact. We went to Fame so-called Penang Top Club by Yu Wei as our last official outing in Penang. haha.Altough it was just a normal outing, but that would be the most memorable one that I ever had.

I always think that imperfect is perfect. What I am trying to say is although not all our bros were there, but it was a complete farewell you know. Just a normal one will do, our friendship doesn't need a grand and fantastic farewell, don't you agreed with this?

It was memorable indeed. I mean it's very easy to hang out when we were in secondary school or even college like last year, what you need is just a call. But when friends are all seperated in different places, festivals like CNY or Chrismas or either New Year are the only days that we can meet up again. Taking this case for example, Yu Wei is now in Australia, Gregory in NZ, John is leaving in May, Ck might going UK at the end of this year, I might going to Sarawak next year and many more. So, when will all these people meet up again???

another IMPROMPTU TRIP

well, as I promised earlier I will post my second impromptu trip one day and here I come. however, I know I am doing this at the wrong timing and in fact I am doing something really irrational cause my exam is just around the corner as I mentioned before. anyways, since I have made the decision to post this trip let me complete it then alright. okay, this was one month ago, yu wei and choon chiet suggested to have a trip to genting. I actually rejected them cause I just came back from genting not long ago and furthermore I was in broke condition. But still, i joint them at last because this might be our last trip before everyone further their studies in different places. I really appreciate it indeed and we had so much fun. so let me introduce you....[ wait, do you guys still remember f4??] yeah and this time we named ourselves GPS CREW!!! check it out..

okay, without wasting much time, we checked in and we directly went to the outdoor theme park. people, this is an advice for you, next time please go genting during this period, room rate is only 60bucks per night and the theme park is empty in a way that you don't need to queue up to play all those fun stuffs.

okay, we drove down to KL on the second day, went to sunway college to meet up with friends, went to sunway piramid to buy new year clothes and went to petaling street at nigh.

People. this is true! look at the bat kut teh and guess how much per set? You won't believe it. It's only 10bucks per set and this is something which we really cant find it in penang. so big okay and we cant really finish it though we are all big eaters.

after taking out dinner, we went back to genting and reached at around 12am.without wasting much time we went back to hotel room and changed then headed to night safari again. we promised ourselves that we must enjoy to then fullest since it was our last night. and i addicted to the club in genting.haha

Day 3

we wanted to wake up early but we cant cause we went night safari untill 4 in the morning.lol.so woke up at 12pm and went to kfc to take our lunch. after that, we did something which is not following the rules.guess what? since four of us are still wearing the wristband for outdoor theme park which we bought 2 days ago, so we tried to get in to the theme park again. and yeah they didnt check us. In short, a outdoor ticket [38bucks] enable us to play for two days.worth it la and we don't need to queue up somemore.thanks genting.lol

and we met this disted guy on the third day. I am not sure what's his name but he's yw's friend le.

we bluff him. we said : " come on, do a serious pose"and he followed.haha

yea I know it's a super late post, I supposed to post this two weeks ago [ i think so, if I am not mistaken.lol] and it actually happened about one month ago.haha. what to do, procrastination is still my sickness. I am trying my best to change this bad habit already okay. give me some times alright.anyways I should continue with the 2nd 3rd & 4th day of my IMPROMPTU TRIP.

okay, i stopped at Taiping in my last post right? alright alright, so we took about 4hours journey and we reached KL [ Pudu bus station] at 3 something in the morning.

okay, actually we got no idea on where to go cause it was 3something in the morning and we were all carrying our heavy bags.that's disturbing okay.

so,John the fucker[haha] suggested:"why not we go to hotel and keep our bags first then only we collect back when we check in tomorrow."

anyways, i do agreed that there's a point in his statement la.

so, we headed to our first destination in KL [ Alpha Genesis Hotel] by taxi, the driver charged us 18bucks okay because it was midnight.what to do, this is not pulau tikus in Penang or even Gurney Plaza or Queensbay mall. pay luu...haha

sleepy face.lol.and we really had no enough sleep okay.slept 2 hours in the bus only.argh!!!

but here we come,

after taking the super nice supper, we had a walk around Bukit Bintang cause the hotel staff told us that we can only check in at 2pm in the afternoon and it was just 4something in the morning.In short,we had 2 hours sleep and we need to wait untill 2pm in the noon only we get to see our lovely beds!that's torturing indeed.argh!!!!

the IMPROMPTU TRIP

Finally, I am free to post my impromptu trip which I supposed to post it few weeks ago.lol

Day 1...

alright before I start, let me introduce you the F4 [we named ourselves] haha.

okay,here we go.each of us contributed 10bucks for petrol except John. according to him, we paid for petrol and he will pay for toll. but unfortunately, we are all acountants.so let me do the simple calculation:

Petrol 1obucks each , total 30 bucks

Toll, RM8.60..

hmm RM10 - RM8.60 = RM1.40

he owes us (RM1.40/3) = RM0.466 each !!! anyways i was just joking.hahaha

okay,and then this thing happened. John "si hooi". We quickly opened the window and shouted "si hooi si hooi !!!".yeah we are lame but he was damn embarrassed okay cuz people outside are all looking at him.haha

okay,remember this car KCD 5686.because of the uncle,we reached our first destination[taiping-simpang] like in only one hour cause we race with him.lol. He inspired us man, I can't believe that a milo tin Viva can go with a speed of 160km/hr on the highway.whoe!

okay,the dinner ended at 9sharp and since we only leave taiping at 11.30pm. so we had an one-hour taiping tour.Christy brought us to Kampung Ah Kua. according to Christy and John,[they went before] the kampung is full of ah kuaSSSS.

I tell you it was full of Ah KuaSSS..all the Ah KuaSSS will just stand by the roadside and they will approach you once you pass by.that's crazy! and they will chase your car ! crazy right? how cool is that.haha.anyways, I can't actually captured how crazy it was, cause we scared those Ah KuaSSS will come and chase our car. so these are the only two pictures that I manage to take in kampung Ah Kua.lol

okay, then we park our car at christy's house and went to the bus station to take bus to kl.

end of the first day! will continue with our 2nd day at kl,3rd day at genting and 4th day at taiping soon. bye

crzay X'MAS!!

yeah,it was crazy.really crazy.cuz i never slept for almost 3 days.well, sorry that i don't have pictures for my x'mas celebration.[i forgot to take.lol] but let me tell you how crazy it was!okay,i went out at 8something at night during the eve, meeting up with greg,john,yu wei,janice,calene,madeline,su ting,mindy and lst and his girlfriend as well.we stayed in gurney untill 10something then we headed to upr.[yeah the place that i rarely go].but shit,when we were on the way to upr suddenly madeline called and say that they had an accident at marina bay there.so,the super driver ME, drove back all the way from somewhere near pulau tikus to marina bay.[it wasn't too far actually,but i just want to make mad feels guilty.hahaha.kiding] okay after that we rushed back to upr,and we were like so worried that we can't manage to reach upr by 12am so i suggested to john that why not we kiss and countdown in the car.hahaha.but luckily,we reached fame by 11.58pm and yeah MERRY X'MAS!!!we were in fame untill 3something then we went to take our supper.lol.it was 4something in the morning,but i still don't feel like going home,same goes to greg,so we went to greenland mcd to take our breakfast this time.haha.then,we were like so bored we got no place to go,so how?went to greg's house.the gambling king,john started the game,texas!we gambled from 5something untill 12noon,yeah we never slept!and the thing is i was the big loser!omfg!okay chill chill.we wanted to sleep already but still don't feel like sleeping so we suggested to go somewhere out from penang to take our lunch! Taiping,here we come[yu wei,greg,me,john,yj,janice & calene] ..took lunch at taiping and we came back to penang at 8pm.and i was really sleepy already,but i need to attent a meething at 9.30pm.what to do,meeting with boss and met up with daniel at there.so we went to Alan Burger after meeting and i reached home at 1.30am.okay i still haven't sleep,cuz i need to rush my notes for my students till almost 4am i fell asleep.
